Overview
Woodhall Spa has a choice of everything from supermarkets, coffee shops, butchers, newsagents, hardware stores, antique shops, restaurants, hotels and bed and breakfasts, hairdressers (loads of them!) and clothing retailers. It also has a chemist, a shoe shop (possibly the smallest in the world), and the unique (an often over used word, but not in this case) Kinema in the Woods and much, much more.
Having relatives living in Woodhall Spa allows us to easily visit this lovely town. In March 2020 we had a rare sunny day so I was able to take a walk to an from the town via a footpath running parallel to the Horncastle Road with our lovely Standard Poodle Lottie. We had a great visit with friendly locals and a great coffee and vegan cake…. what more can you want.
Photography Suggestions
Woodhall Spa is a busy own with plenty of lovely buildings, street cafes and lovely surroundings countryside including the golf course with many mature trees.
Walking Routes
We walked along part of the Viking Way and met lots of people walking both ways. There is also the Spa Trail nearby. Many of the paths run on the route of old trains lines so are flat and easily walked.
