Overview
This Photo Walk gives the opportunity to take in several areas of the River Thames near Maidenhead in Berkshire. Boulters Lock is a working lock and restaurant/pub. Nearby is the new development along the Thames which offer great opportunities for architectural photography. Footpaths along the Thames also soon enter large areas of protected riverside walks to take in the local nature. You can also take the opportunity to take a boat trip toward Bray.
Boat trips run most days and there are always plenty of boats on the river. As always people on boats are keen to wave and join in with life on the river.

Walking Routes
Recommended – A circular pub walk from Boulters Lock in Maidenhead on the Berkshire and Buckinghamshire border. Boulters Lock, close to the start of the walk, is a pub and restaurant sitting at an idyllic spot on the River Thames, making the perfect spot for refreshments before or after your walk. The walking trail takes in the beautiful areas of country park within the modern Taplow Riverside estate, with the longer trail following riverside paths alongside the Jubilee River and River Thames.
